    Compax was the first Indian company to demonstrate the operations of their Cold box Coreshooter with ‘CE’ certification at International Foundry Exhibition, GIFA 2007, held at Dusseldorf, Germany in June 2007.

    Compax designed and manufactured the largest Cold box Coreshooter ever manufactured or installed in India. The tooling size of the Coreshooter was 2100 x 2100 x 300 with shot capacity of 150 Kg. The machine was with Automatic Core handling and Automatic Sandmix Preparation system.

Compax has established a small Aluminum Foundry in view of its expansion plans. Currently, this set-up will be used for Proto-typing activities and small-batch Casting production.

The current set-up consists of the couple of equipments including a Melting & holding Furnace, Gravity Die-casting machines and Coreshooter.

Compax plans to target the Aluminum components used for 2-wheelers and other special components.
